Mexico class certificates

Well done to the children who received a certificate for swimming 1 width (Bailey, Michelle and Chloe), a lunchtime certificate (Leo, Michael N, Millie and Natas) and Mathletic certificates (Michael N and David).


Greece class design a lunch menu

 This week Greece class were able to design a lunch menu as part of their attendance reward.  The menu will be available on Monday, 30th January.

The children in Greece class got to design a poster and the winning design, which was picked by the Catering Manager, has been displayed around the school.

Well done to Hazel for her winning design.

The menu choices for Monday are:

Burger in a Bun

Vegan Sausage Roll

Baguette - Ham, Cheese, Tuna

Sides - Sweetcorn and Broccoli and Potato Dippers

Pudding - Arctic Roll





Year 4 Mathletics

 Well done to all those children in Year 4 who received a Mathletics certificate this week.  We are very proud of you.

Year 5 -Jazz

The children in Year 5 have started the Spring term by exploring Jazz music. They learned about the main features of jazz music like scat singing, walking bass and improvisation as well as listened to some famous jazz artists like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald or Ray Charles.

The children enjoyed singing ‘Hit the road Jack’, playing ‘5 Note swing’ and improvising.
