Commonwealth Games Assembly

Years 3, 4 and 5 absolutely loved the Commonwealth Games assembly today. The children were able to share their research into Trinidad and Tobago, learn all about the commonwealth games and participate in a newly learned dance to celebrate.

Music Exams Spring 2022

A huge congratulation to Jolin, Nicole, Olivia, Jacob and Yanis who passed their piano exams in March 2022. Our amazing girls Jolin and Nicole jumped from Grade 1 to Grade 3 in just a few months however it would not be possible without their commitment and resilience. We are very proud of all of you and wish you more successes in the future. Keep up the hard work.

USA Certificate Winners

A big well done to the USA class certificate winners. Despite a very short week, they have still managed to show brilliant work and effort in the classroom.

Young Voices 2022

Mead Choir had an incredible time at the O2 arena on Wednesday 4th May. They performed with the Young Voices largest children’s choir, in the world and spread the love of singing.

This year the Young Voices director put an emphasis on ’iconic’ music so they took part in medleys including  Beatles songs, The Muppet Show and The lion King. They also took part in a Pop medley with the anthem of ‘Power in me’.

The children enjoyed the concert so much and they cannot wait for the next year to take part in this unique experience.

Year 3 - Forest School - Week 2

Year 3 had a packed afternoon making their forest school necklaces and working out their forest school names - these included Keeley kingfisher, Saim snake and Mo Magpie. We used the hammock to relax and played ‘you’re only safe if’. We found time for some hapa zoming too (the Japanese technique of smashing flowers/leaves into fabric). We made some great designs with the delights the forest offered us, lots of lovely colours today.
