Newsletter - 01/04/22- Important Information

Dear Parents and Carers,

Uniform

Our new policy is a phased introduction of the uniform policy and therefore it is not necessary to purchase any new uniform until older pieces need to be replaced. Having a uniform policy is really important to raise standards and consistency across the school. School uniform plays a key role in promoting pride, self-confidence, and a feeling of belonging. (Please see your Ping or Squid account for the policy).

Havering Catering Services

Week beginning 18th April is week 1 on the Havering catering services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.37. Please be reminded that your child’s sQuid catering account should be topped up at all times. We cannot provide dinners for pupils whose account exceeds a debt of £10. If you are experiencing difficulties please contact Mrs Bruiners in the school office who will be able to provide you with support and assistance.

Price Increase: We have been informed by Havering catering services that with effect from the 1st April 2022 the price of a school dinner will increase to £2.37.

Congratulations

During the Easter holiday Miss Murray (Italy) will be getting Married but will continue to use her maiden name in school. We wish her all the best for her big day!

Polling Day

On Thursday 5th May, Mead will be used as a polling station to allow the local community to vote for the London local elections 2022. This will mean that school is closed to all pupils. School will re-open to all children on Friday 6th May.

Federation Sports

Federation Sports will be running during the Easter Holidays from 1st April to 14th April. To book a space please call 07989212771.
