In the main entrance corridor we have had the new signage installed that will allow us to show off the pupils' writing and attendance.
On the left is the attendance board. Here pupils will be able to see their class attendance percentage and how the school is performing as whole.
On the right is the Star Writer board. Teachers will identify pieces of writing that are outstanding for a particular pupil and make them the Star Writer for the week.

- The piece of writing will be displayed outside the classroom
- The pupil will have a certificate and golden pencil in assembly
- The writing then moves to the main board in the corridor to be celebrated by the whole school
We believe that by showcasing the writing and attendance in this professional and eye catching way it really raises the profile of these two key areas and leads to greater pupil engagement.
