Nurture Group Forest School

The day everyone have all been waiting for… fire lighting day!  The children made their own small fire. They used a flint and steel and, with a little bit of practise, soon got the hang of it and could light their fire using the sparks.  We also had a bigger group fire and s’mores and hot chocolate were enjoyed by all!

Fiji's trip to the London Eye

Fiji's trip to London Eye!

Fiji had an amazing day yesterday on our trip to London! We got to travel by bus and tube, and spot all the London landmarks we have learnt about this year. Children were all amazingly behaved and members of the public commented on how well behaved the children were. They should all be very proud! Everyone was so excited to finally ride the London Eye, and it was a brilliant experience for everyone involved.

Wear Orange in support of St Francis Hospice

Pupil Parliament would like everyone to wear orange (or a bright colour) on Thursday 13th July to raise vital funds for patients and their families at St Francis Hospice. Any donations are warmly welcomed and staff are encouraged to participate.

School uniform

Please ensure that your child wears the correct school uniform to school every day. All children should wear: A bottle green sweatshirt or cardigan, collared white t-shirt, and black trousers or tailored skirt. Leggings are not part of the uniform policy and should not be worn to school. Children may wear flat ankle boots (no heels). We have also requested that school fleeces be made available with the uniform provider and we will inform you when they are available. If you need support with uniform costs please speak to the office as you may be eligible for uniform vouchers if you have not already received these this school year. PE Kits: plain black/grey jogging bottoms or black/green shorts and white t-shirt with appropriate footwear.

Reports

School reports will be sent out to parents on Friday 14th July. On Monday 17th July we will be holding an open afternoon 3pm-4pm to view your children's work and speak to a member of staff about your child’s report
