Friday 22nd November 2024
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week we would like to say a HUGE thank you to our Friends of Mead who organised a fantastic Movie and Munch for the children last week on top of preparing for the Christmas Fayre taking place after school this evening. The Movie and Munch was a great success and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Without the Friends and school staff giving up their time, these events wouldn’t be possible and we are very grateful. Thank you!
Scooters
Thank you for supporting the decision to stop the use of scooters in the playground, we have noticed a huge difference this week and everyone has been kept safe. Please continue to remind the children to come off scooters ahead of entering the playground. Thank you.
Colder Weather
With the forecast of colder weather next week, and the appearance of snow this week, please can all pupils come to school with a coat and cardigan/ jumper. The Friends of Mead School are happy to help with pre-loved uniform for anyone who needs it. Please contact them via friendsofmead@learningfederation.org.uk
We recommend that pupils wear jogging bottoms for PE uniform during the winter months, as the children will still be outside for play times. Pupils are welcome to wear PE shorts under their jogging bottoms if they wish to wear shorts during PE lessons.
Events coming up next week
