EYFS Forest School- St Lucia

Yesterday EYFS started their Forest School journey starting with St Lucia class. The children started the session by walking around the area looking for the boundary ribbons, they then played a game incorporating the ribbons so they could get used to the area around them. The children then had free exploration time where they could take part in the different activities available including, balancing on the slack line, creating food in the mud kitchen, relaxing in the hammock, climbing trees and digging in the mud. The children also had the opportunity to show off their fine motor skills and very sensibly used palm drills to put holes in pumpkins as well as creating leaf sparklers.
