Yesterday (Wednesday 13th November) Antigua class had their first Forest School experience. We started the session off by sitting around the fire circle discussion how we stay safe at Forest School, we then went on a walk around the area looking for the red boundary ribbons before playing a game incorporating them. The children then had some free time to explore the area where they; created pies and soup in the mud kitchen, searched for worms in the digging area, relaxed in the hammock, balanced on the slack line, climbed through the trees as well as many other activities. The children enjoyed climbing through the tree, talking to an adult about how to safely do it, before doing so. Next week will be Jamaica's turn.
