Yesterday our children participated at the Stratford and East London Music Festival. They competed with six different schools in two categories: Junior Recorder Group and Junior Choir. The standard of the competition this year was very high so we are extremely proud of our Recorder Group which was awarded a 'Commended' and got a trophy for the first place performance.
Although the Mead Singers did not win, they represented our school well and it was a pleasure listening to them singing their hearts.
