Outdoor Learning Day- Science

Today, is Outside Learning Day. For part of our Science lesson about Living Things & Habitats, Italy class went into the forest for a bug hunt. The pupils had to collect different creatures that have an invertebrate. Once they had collected them, they continued their learning back in the classroom by using a classification key to identify each creature. at the end of the lesson, we again went to the forest to return the creatures to their natural habitat.

Outdoor learning day- Maths

Today, is Outside Learning Day. For part of our Maths lesson about time, Italy class went outside to time how long it took to run around the playground. The prediction was less than 5 minutes although I did have 1 suggestion of an hour! We had to test out our prediction.

They were able to run around the playground in 1 minute and 12 seconds.
