DT in year 3

 In DT last week, year 3 designed, made and evaluated their very own healthy sandwiches for a tea party. The children enjoyed being able to make and then eat their own designs.

Year 2 D. T

 In D&T this half-term, Year 2 have been learning about healthy eating. The children were give the choice to make either a fruit kebab or a fruit salad. The children cut their own fruit and used their design to make their sweet treat. Year 2 enjoyed making their treats for snack time.

Lighthouses!

Year 4 used their knowledge of electrical systems to design and build their own lighthouses that could be used as night lights in their bedrooms - don't they look amazing? Well done Greece class!

Green thumbs in year 3

 Unlike Miss Gibson I am sure that we will have a lot of green thumbs in year 3. This week we have planned and made our mini greenhouses. Using fruit punnets, tape, glue, lolly sticks and cling film the children got busy creating their own greenhouses. Like all greenhouses we needed plants, so we have used mustard and cress seeds along with cotton wool. We can't wait to hear about how well all the plants have grown.
