Today Fiji Class were geographers as we went and collected data around the streets by our school. As a class we decided we wanted to investigate how many bins, postboxes, bus stops and crossings we would find. We used a tally chart to collect our findings. We had lots of fun counting and spotting features in our local streets. We even looked at the different types of houses in our local area. Harley spotted lots of terraced and semi-detached houses! Back at school we counted the numbers on our tally charts and made practical block graphs. We found out there are a lot of bins and fewer postboxes! We enjoyed being geographers and doing fieldwork in our local area.
