We were delighted to see the completion of the EYFS windows this week. Nursery now have brand new frames and doors around the whole of their building which will have a number of benefits:
- the appearance of the building is now much more in keeping with what we want to portray - a world class environment for world class learning
- the classrooms will be much warmer in the winter as the power coated aluminium frames and insulated glass will preserve the heat
- In the Summer it will be cooler as all of the windows will open - before the old frames were often stuck.
However we aren't finished yet! Despite spending £40,000 of this project, Governors are keen to finish the area with a colour render, which will really modernise and freshen the front of the building. That is in addition to the extra play equipment and resources which are still to come over the next few weeks!
