The great sand castle challenge

The Great Sand Castle Challenge
Frankie in St Lucia had the idea of building 10 sand castles. Many of the children joined in to help her achieve her goal. The task was harder than we originally thought as some of the sand dried out and others were knocked by helpful hands. When we got to 10 other children decided we should try for 20 sand castles. It was lovely to see the children counting and checking and working out how many more sand castles were needed. The children had so much patience and their problem solving skills were really tested. Well done Frankie and Albert who saw the task through from the beginning to the end.
