Parents/Carers

We hope you have had a lovely half term break. The weather certainly could have been kinder but we hope it  didn't spoil the children's fun.

This half term we will be working on some activities based around the children`s favourite themes starting with a classic theme dinosaurs. On Wednesday the children will have the chance to be paleontologists for the day and then get to meet a dinosaur. The children will also be looking in information books and finding out dinosaur facts and no doubt we will find some dinosaur experts amongst the children who will teach us a thing or two.

In Read, write inc the children have been reassessed and there will be some movement of groups. This will help the children to progress at their own level.

In maths we will be using number lines and really focusing on counting, recognising and ordering numbers to twenty.

Thank you to all those children and parents who have been completing the maths challenge and sharing their work.We really appreciate the support.

We thank your continued understanding and cooperation in leaving pushchairs at the door. It would be nice to see the children coming into school on their own now. Obviously if you need to speak to a class adult that is fine but we know that most of our children are more than ready to be independent with their morning jobs.We will praise the children that manage to do this on their own.Image result for clip art image waving goodbye
