Weekly Newsletter - 1st February 2019

Dear Parents,

It seems the weather forecasters got it wrong yesterday!! I thought it best to warn parents/carers that the school may be closed but fortunately we were able to open as normal. Please be advised that in the event we do have extreme weather conditions I will ensure the blog and facebook page are updated so you know if school is going to be closed.

We are monitoring uniform at the moment, as we have noticed there has been a slight slip in standards especially with regard to shoes. Please be reminded pupils are expected to wear black shoes or trainers to school.
Girls should have white T-shirts/blouses and grey/black trousers/skirts
Boys -White T-shirts/shirts and grey/black trousers
In both cases they should have bottle green jumpers/sweatshirts/cardigans/fleeces

I have been informed that Tescos will not be offering an embroidery service for Mead School uniform from 12/2/19, but have been assured that Havering Schoolwear will continue to offered embroidered items.
They are at 160-162 Hornchurch Rd RM11 1QH and can be contacted on 01708 767890 or e-mailed on info@haveringschoolwear.co.uk

Please ensure your child/children have a PE kit in school as PE/games are part of the curriculum and as such they are expected to participate.
